Power Flushing - what is it?

Power Flushing, Jet Flushing and Hard Flushing are all terms used to describe the process of forcibly cleaning central heating systems with high velocity water.

This flushing process can be improved still further by adding powerful cleansing agents designed to remove the sludge and corrosion deposits within central heating systems, improving overall performance and eliminating system circulation noise. Existing sludge and corrosion deposits in an existing system are often mobilised by alterations or servicing to the system.

Today's modern energy efficient boilers are more susceptible to problems caused by debris in the system water this is why we recommend flushing a heating system prior to fitting a new boiler; to eliminate the corrosion and sludge deposits before flow problems occur.

How it works:
The power flushing pump is connected into the central heating system, and combined with instantaneous flow reverser device, dislodges deposits and corrosion. Once these deposits have been loosened, fresh clean water is forced through the central heating system, pushing the contaminated water out. During this process, radiators are individually flushed, without any requirement for them to be disconnected from the system. At the end of the process, the system contains fresh clean water and the system can be returned to normal operation within a few minutes.

Mooretech Services use Kamco Power Flushing products to clean existing systems, flush out new systems which may contain elements of manufacturing materials and prior to fitting a new boiler.
